the viscosity of cocoa

of the three of them, i think she did it the hardest way. but for about as long as i remember, she did most things with a painful viscosity. there are some things that are good to drag out, like lunch with an old friend, or sleeping on a saturday, or sipping hot cocoa. [dying is not one of those things.]

it seems that it might be wise to excise those last few years of memories, because i know that i would rather be remembered for the journey, not the destination. [because, let's face it, the journey is more interesting anyway.]

  2. The good that can come from the dragging is mending those bridges of the heart that you burned while on the journey.
